ANTHONY HUBBARD is Technical Director and a Management Committee member of SKCIN (The Karen Clifford Skin Cancer Charity). He sits on the All Party Parliamentary Group on Skin (skin cancer sub-group) and on the Melanoma Taskforce. He is the Managing Director of Schuco International where he mainly works on the technologies for the early detection of, and surgery for, skin cancer. He was previously the Technical Director for the number one prescription sun care brand, Uvistat. He has a personal interest in sun protection product development and regularly presents lectures on the ‘Science of Suncare’, which gives people the information that they need to be able to select appropriate sun protection products. He previously worked at Boots the Chemist PLC from 1995 – 2004 in a variety of senior technical and developmental roles, specialising in developing sun protection products and consumer product safety. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (CSci, CChem, FRSC), a member of the Parliamentary Links Scheme (Linked with the MP for Broxtoxe), a Member of the Society of the Chemical Industry and a Member of the Institute of Directors.
